About Beyond the Tides
Beyond the Tides provides end of life care for beloved pets, honoring the bond you share and the life they've lived. We believe the final journey should be as gentle as the love that carried them through their life.
Our approach is rooted in compassion, dignity and presence. By coming to your home, we allow pets to remain where they feel safest, and families to say goodbye in a way that feels personal and meaningful. We are there every step of the way, offering guidance, clarity and gentle care.

Meet Dr. Kendall Stratton
I am the veterinarian behind Beyond the Tides. With over 15 years in clinical practice, I have found the greatest fulfillment in supporting families through end of life care and helping them navigate this deeply personal decision with compassion and clarity.
In my experience with my own pets, being able to say goodbye in the comfort of my home was paramount. It provided a sense of peace and calm that shaped my belief that families deserve this option when the time comes. It is the greatest honor that I am able to provide this service to owners and their pets.
Through Beyond the Tides, I offer in home consultation, pet hospice care, and end of life care that honors the bond you share with your pet. My goal is to support both pets and their families with dignity, empathy, and respect.
Services and Pricing
At Beyond the Tides, we know every pet and family’s needs are unique. Our goal is to provide peaceful, compassionate, in-home care.
Below is a general outline of our services. We are always happy to discuss your pet’s needs and answer any questions. All fees listed below include travel within a 30 minute radius. Additional travel fees apply if beyond 30 minutes travel.
Home Consultation & Guidance*
Initial meeting to discuss your pet’s care, answer questions, and outline options. Typically 1 hour.
$275
Hospice Care*
Supportive care for pets with chronic illness or nearing end of life. Including pain management (injectable pain and anti nausea medication, oral medication, laser therapy), comfort measures, in home management and guidance for families.
Consult fee $275 and variable fees for follow up visits and treatments
In-Home Euthanasia*
End of Life care in the comfort of your home. Includes travel to home, consultation, gentle sedation and euthanasia, aftercare support (Transportation for cremation, guidance on memorial options)

Communal (no ashes returned):

*Pricing may vary based on travel and scheduling (after hours, weekends, holidays, urgent/emergency). We provide a clear estimate before scheduling any services. There is an additional $200 fee for urgent same day, appointments after 5 pm, weekends and holidays. There may be additional fees for animals over 100 pounds, aggressive animals, or extended travel. Please contact for details. Hours: 8 am- 5pm by appointment.
**Payment is due at time of service. Accepted methods of payment: Cash, Venmo, Apple Pay, and Credit/Debit Cards. Payments via credit or debit are made securely via Stripe or Intuit. Sorry, no personal checks accepted.
